My name is Dara Herlihy, founder of Aisling Tours, from Dingle, Co. Kerry, Ireland. As a native Irish speaker and traditional Irish music enthusiast, I believe I embody what Ireland represents.

It is my honour to create an unforgettable experience that will forever connect you with this incredible country that I happily call home.
Born into the hospitality business growing up in a family run guesthouse, I went on to study Hotel Management in Galway City. I then moved to Cork city for almost ten years specialising in five star hotels and honing my skills for high class hospitality, in “Hayfield Manor Hotel” and “Starwood Hotels & Resorts.”
Upon returning home to Dingle in 2011, my father and I opened a traditional Irish music store. We host live concerts several nights a week during the summer season. In 2017, I also opened a traditional Irish Music Pub in Dingle “Neligan’s” where we host live music nightly and welcome both locals and visitors alike.
In 2014, I began working with “Rick Steve’s Europe” leading tours of Ireland. Through my experience with Rick, I stumbled upon a niche demand for tailored tours of Ireland specialising in individualised tours, creating personal itineraries of the Ireland one dreams of seeing and through this “Aisling Tours” - Dream Tours Ireland was born. “Aisling” is the Gaelic word for dream.
